How do I view student progress and reports?

Updated on

The following steps will help you view your students' progress, activity, and grades from your Team dashboard.

Step 1: Open your Team dashboard

  1. Log in to courseware.toonboom.com.
  2. Navigate to your Progress team dashboard.

Step 2: View the Team Activity report

The Activity report provides a detailed view of each student's progress through the course modules.

  1. In the Team Reports section of the Team dashboard, click Team Activity Report for your whole group (or Activity for a specific student).

  1. You will see a summary of student activity, including login dates and course progress. Here you can view individual student progress, including which modules have been completed, and activity submissions.

Step 3: View the Team Learner summary

The Learner summary gives you a general look at your students' engagement with the courseware.

  1. From the Team Reports section of the Team dashboard, select the dropdown under Team Learner Summary and choose the relevant courseware.

  1. Select View Report.
  2. You will see a summary of student activity, including start/completion dates and quiz scores.

Step 4: View an individual student's progress

  1. From your Team dashboard, click one of the following buttons next to a student's name:

  • Activity button: You will see something similar to the Team Activity Report, but for the individual student.
  • Transcript button: You will see a detailed breakdown of their progress in each course lesson.

Q&A

Question:

A student says they have been working on the courseware, but no progress is shown?

Answers:
  • Confirm the student is logging in with the correct account (the email and password you provided).
  • Check that the student is accessing the correct course. If they are enrolled in the wrong user group, their progress may not appear in your dashboard.
  • Ask the student to confirm they are completing lessons by completing all the required lesson sections (some progress is only recorded once a lesson is fully completed).
