A Toon Boom Desktop Subscription can be activated by launching the Toon Boom Activation Wizard, and signing in with your Toon Boom ID. The following steps will help you activate your Toon Boom Desktop Subscription.
Step 1: Open the Toon Boom Activation/License Wizard
- Open your Toon Boom software, or do one of the following:
- In Windows: On your desktop, use the Windows key and search for “License Wizard”. Click on the result to open the Toon Boom Activation Wizard/License Wizard.
- In macOS: Open the Spotlight search by pressing ⌘ + Space. Search for “License Wizard”. Click on the result to open the Toon Boom Activation Wizard/License Wizard.
- The Toon Boom Activation Wizard/License Wizard will appear:

Step 2: Log into your Toon Boom Account
- On the Activation page, click on Sign In in the top right corner.
- The Sign In page opens. In the designated fields, enter your E-mail address and Password.
- Click on the Sign In button.
- The Manage Licenses in your Account page will appear:
Step 3: Activate your license
- Locate the license that you want to activate, and click on the Activate button next to it.
- A dialog will appear to confirm the license has been activated successfully:

Question:
What happens if the license expires?
Answer:
If your license has expired, you will need to activate a new license or renew your current one. The Activate operation in the Manage Licenses in your Account page will only enable the use of a valid active license.
