As a student attending a Toon Boom Centre of Excellence (COE) school, you may be eligible to use Toon Boom Harmony and Toon Boom Storyboard Pro through the COE Student Program.
Before downloading your license, you must create a Toon Boom account and validate your student status through the COE Student Portal.

| NOTE: COE student licenses are 1-year licenses and must be renewed annually for the duration of your eligibility in the COE Student Program. |
Step 1: Create a Toon Boom account
- Follow the steps provided in How do I create a Toon Boom account?.
| NOTE: Make sure your account is created using the email address provided by your school. |
Step 2: Sign in to the COE Student Portal
- Go to the COE Student Portal.
- Either in the top-right corner of the page or under the first step on the page, click Sign In.
- You will be redirected to the Toon Boom login page.
- In the designated fields, enter your E-mail and Password.
- Click the Sign In button.
- You will be redirected back to the COE Student Portal.
- The COE Student Portal will now display your account status.
Step 3: Validate your student status
- On the COE Student Portal page, click Validate Now.

- Once validation is complete, you will be redirected to a page where you can download your software.
Step 4: Download and activate your COE student license
- In your product panel, click the download link for your operating system.
- Follow the steps in How do I activate my license via the internet? to activate your license.
Once activation is complete, you can launch the Toon Boom product and begin using your COE student license.

Question 1:
Why wasn't I taken to the software download page after clicking Validate Now?
Answer:
If you were not redirected to the software download page, one of the following may apply:
- Your Toon Boom account was not created using the email address provided by your school.
- Your school email domain was not recognized by the COE Student Portal.
- Your school may not currently participate in the Toon Boom Centre of Excellence (COE) Program.
To resolve the issue:
- Confirm that your Toon Boom account uses the email address provided by your school.
- Contact your school's administrator to verify that your institution participates in the COE Program.

How long is my COE student license valid?
Answer:
COE student licenses are valid for one year.
To continue using your license, you must renew it annually through the COE Student Portal for the duration of your eligibility in the COE Student Program.
