How do I verify my student status with my Toon Boom ID?

A student who has a Toon Boom ID that is associated with a student e-mail address provided by their institute will be able to verify their student status in the Toon Boom Store during the purchasing process. This will give them access to a student discount.

In order to verify your status, you will first need a Toon Boom ID linked to your student e-mail address. If you have not yet done this, please see the step-by-step instructions in How do I create a Toon Boom account? before continuing.

Step 1: Log in to your Toon Boom account on the store page

If you are already logged in, skip to the next step.

1. Go to the Toon Boom Store.
2. In the header, click the Sign In button to go to the login page.

3. In the designated fields, enter your E-mail address and Password.
4. Confirm you are not a robot by ticking the I’m not a robot (reCAPTCHA) box.
5. Click the Sign In button. You will be redirected back to the Toon Boom Store.

Step 2: Start the verification process

1. Go to the student section of the Toon Boom Store.
2. Find the product that you would like to purchase and click on Buy Now.

3. You will be directed to the Verify Your Student Status page.

Step 3: Verify your student status

1. On the Verify Your Student Status page, click on the Get Verified button. You will be directed to the Student Validation page.

2. In the Email field, enter the e-mail address associated with your Toon Boom ID.

3. A valid student e-mail will show the “e-mail approved” message under the Email address field.
4. In the School Name field, start typing and a dropdown list will open with possible options. Choose your school name.

5. Once your information is entered, press the Get Validated Now button.

6. An e-mail will be sent to verify your student e-mail. 

7. Check the inbox of your student e-mail to find the verification link.
8. Once the e-mail is verified, your student validation request will be complete.
