What offers are available for students?

Depending on the institution, students have different options for accessing Toon Boom software. This article will outline the different offers available to students, and provide links to other articles with more specific instructions on getting started with a student license.

Students from Centres of Excellence (COE) 

Students attending a Toon Boom Centre of Excellence have access to a free desktop subscription of Harmony and Storyboard Pro software. These subscriptions last for one year, and can be renewed every year while the student is still attending the COE.

To access the software, a Toon Boom account must be created using the e-mail that is provided to the student by the school (COE). The product codes can be claimed on our website after signing in.

Students from recognized institutes 

Students from an institute recognized by Toon Boom Animation can purchase a license to the software at a discounted rate. Terms and conditions apply. 

To have access to the discount, students will have to verify their student status before purchasing the software. Refer to the How do I verify my student status? article for step-by-step instructions on accessing a student discount.

Students from unrecognized institutes

Students that have a valid student status from an institution that is not automatically recognized by our validation procedure can still request a student discount. The request will have to be sent for manual review by Toon Boom’s sales team.
