How do I change the language of the Storyboard Pro interface?

The Storyboard Pro interface is available in the following languages:

  • English
  • Spanish
  • Japanese
  • Chinese Simplified 

By default, Storyboard Pro will use the language of your OS or let you choose your language during the install process, but it can also be changed at any point via the Preferences window.

Step 1: Open the Preferences window

  1. In the top menu, do one of the following:
    • In Windows, click Edit > Preferences…
    • In macOS click Storyboard Pro > Preferences…
  2. The Preferences dialog box opens: 

Step 2: Change the Language

  1. In the Preferences window, do one of the following:
    • Select the Interface tab and locate the Language section near the bottom of the window. 
    • In the Search bar in the top right, type ‘language’ and select the result.

  1. This is what the Language section will look like in the different languages:
English:

Spanish:

Japanese:

Chinese Simplified:

  1. In the Language section, select the dropdown menu and choose the language you would like to switch to.

  1. After choosing the language, make sure to press OK at the bottom of the Preferences window to apply the setting.
  2. Relaunch Storyboard Pro to see the changes.
