How do I automatically activate a view without having to click on it?

The most effective way to activate your views without having to click on them is to activate a preference called Focus on Mouse Enter. This setting will make sure that views are activated just by hovering the mouse cursor over them. This article will show you how to activate Focus on Mouse Enter in the Preferences.
 

Step 1: Open the Preferences Window

1. In the top menu, do one of the following:
   • In Windows, click Edit > Preferences…
   • In macOS click Storyboard Pro > Preferences…

Step 2: Activate the Focus on Mouse Enter setting

1. In the Preferences window, click on the General tab and locate the Focus on Mouse Enter option in the General section.

2. Activate the Focus on Mouse Enter option by ticking the checkbox.

3. Click OK to save your Preferences.
