Selecting multiple elements across multiple frames and layers involves using a combination of buttons and settings. Below you will find notes and links to more detailed articles on how to do this.
To edit multiple elements, choose all or a combination of the following options depending on your needs:
Select multiple drawing layers for editing
Selecting multiple drawing layers can be done with one of the following:
- By activating the Apply to Visible Drawings
button in the Tool Properties of a selected tool (see linked article below for the list of related tools).
- By using Shift or Ctrl/Cmd in the Timeline or Node view to select specific layers.

Select all art layers for editing
Selecting all art layers (Line Art, Colour Art, Overlay, Underlay) can be done by activating the Apply to Line Art and Colour Art button in the Tool Properties of a selected tool (see linked article below for the list of related tools).

Select multiple frames for editing
Selecting multiple frames can be done with one of the following:
