What is a home-use license?
When a school purchases 25 or more academic licenses for a high school, or 50 or more for a college or university, Toon Boom includes the same number of student home-use licenses at no extra cost. This means students can keep working on their projects from home, supporting learning outside the classroom and helping them build studio-ready skills.
How are the licenses delivered?
Home-use licenses are issued once your school's purchase is fully processed and payment has been received:
- The school receives a separate list of home-use license codes.
- The school distributes one code to each eligible student individually.
- Each student activates the code they were given on their home computer.
| NOTE: The full list of license codes should never be shared with students directly. Each student should be issued their own individual code separately. |
When are the licenses delivered?
Home-use license codes are only generated once payment is received, therefore there may be a delay while the purchase is being processed. Once payment is confirmed, the list of codes is issued and sent to the school along with the academic licenses.
