How do I install Harmony on Windows?

If you have a Desktop Subscription of Toon Boom Harmony, you can download your copy of the software from your My Downloads page in the Toon Boom Store. You’ll need to be signed in to your Toon Boom account before you can access this page.

Step 1: Log in to your Toon Boom account on the store page

If you are already logged in, skip to the next step.

1. Go to the Toon Boom Store.
2. In the header, click the Sign In button to go to the login page.

3. In the designated fields, enter your E-mail address and Password.
4. Confirm you are not a robot by ticking the I’m not a robot (reCAPTCHA) box.
5. Click the Sign In button. You will be redirected back to the Toon Boom Store.

Step 2: Download your copy of Toon Boom Harmony 

1. Once you have completed the sign-in process, go to the Downloads page on your account.
2. The builds of Toon Boom Harmony are grouped by the versions that are available in the account. Locate the build that you would like to install and click Windows.

3. The download for Harmony will start.

Step 3: Install Toon Boom Harmony on your machine

1. Once the download is complete, double click on the downloaded installer file to start the installation.
2. Select the language for the installation of your software, then press OK.

3. Wait for the installation to complete. The Toom Boom InstallShield Wizard will then prompt you to continue the process. Click on Next.

4. The Toon Boom License Agreement will appear.
5. Carefully read the terms and conditions in the agreement, and accept by selecting I accept the terms in the license agreement.
6. Click on Next when you’re done.

7. Choose the installation location of the Toon Boom software. If you wish to change the location, click on Change to select a new location.
8. Click on Next when you are ready to continue. 

9. Select the installation type that you purchased a license for. Standalone is for single users and Complete is for Database users.
10. Click Next when you are ready to continue.

11. Once the software is installed, press Finish to complete the process.

Step 4: Activate the software license

Before Toon Boom Harmony may be launched, the license must be activated. Follow the instructions provided in this article to activate your license and use your software.
