How can I save and import my preferences, settings and presets for use on another device/version?

Updated on

If you are taking a break from using Harmony or Storyboard Pro, updating your software version, or need to move to a different system, you may want to export your custom preferences, shortcuts and presets so you can reuse them elsewhere. This article will cover the basic steps to make sure you can continue working with the workflow you’re comfortable with.

NOTE: If you are updating your version on the same system, Harmony and Storyboard Pro will automatically detect the old preferences and shortcuts, and will ask if you want to apply them.
TIP: Always name sure to save your preset exports with an appropriate name, and in a location where they will be easy to find when you need to import them.
