If you have a Toon Boom Account with access to Toon Boom Storyboard Pro, you can follow the steps described in this article to install the software on macOS.
Step 1: Log in to your Toon Boom account on the store page
If you are already logged in, skip to the next step.
- Go to the Toon Boom Store.
- In the header, click the Sign In button to go to the login page.
- In the designated fields, enter your E-mail address and Password.
- Confirm you are not a robot by ticking the I’m not a robot (reCAPTCHA) box.
- Click the Sign In button. You will be redirected back to the Toon Boom Store.
Step 2: Download your copy of Toon Boom Storyboard Pro
- Once you have completed the sign-in process, go to the Downloads page on your account.
- The builds of Toon Boom Storyboard Pro are grouped by the versions that are available in the account. Locate the build that you would like to install and click the macOS that corresponds with your system.
- The download for Storyboard Pro will start.
Step 3: Install Toon Boom Storyboard Pro on your machine
- Once your download has completed, double click on the downloaded .dmg file to start the installation process.
- The End-User License Agreement opens in a new window. When you’re ready to proceed, press the Agree button.
- The installation window opens. Drag and drop the Toon Boom Storyboard Pro icon to the Applications folder.
- The software will install to your Applications folder.
Step 4: Activate the software license
Before Toon Boom Storyboard Pro may be launched, the license must be activated. Follow the instructions provided in this article to activate your license and use your software.
