Step 1: Open the Preferences window
- In the top menu, do one of the following:
- In Windows, click Edit > Preferences…
- In macOS click Storyboard Pro > Preferences…
- The Preferences dialog box opens:
Step 2: Set your Burn-In preferences
- In the Preferences dialog box, choose the Import/Export tab and locate the Burn-In section.
- In the Burn-In section, adjust the following:
- Font: The type of font you want to use in the burn-in text.
- Position: The position of the burn-in caption on the export.
- Colour: The colour of the text.
- Draw Box Behind: When ticked, this option will draw a background box behind your text. The colour is defined by the Background Colour option (below).
- Height (%): Sets the height of the timecode font size.
- Print Value: The text you want to include in the export. This works with variables. See About File Naming Patterns for more.
- Background Colour: The colour behind the text when the Draw Box Behind checkbox is ticked.
- Default Panel Time Code Start Time: Defines the default starting timecode for each panel. This will only be visible if you select the Print Panel Time Code option when exporting a movie. See How do I export my movie with a timestamp, subtitles, or overlay? for more.
- Once you’ve adjusted your preferences, click OK to close the Preferences dialog.
