How can I quickly organize my Node view?

Step 1: Select the nodes you want to organize

1. In the Node view, select the nodes you want to organize by drawing a selection box around them, or using Ctrl (Windows) or ⌘ (macOS) to select/deselect specific nodes.

2. Depending on the type of organization you want, choose one of the following options.

Option 1: Use the Align Nodes Horizontally button

1. Click on the Align Nodes Horizontally button.

2. Your nodes will be organized so they align horizontally:

Option 2: Use the Order Node View Up/Down buttons

1. Click on the Order Node View Up or Order Node View Down button.

2. The Order Node View Settings dialog box will appear:

3. The default settings will spread the nodes out in a tree or fan shape. If you want a larger or smaller shape, adjust the following settings:
   • X Overlap %: The higher the percentage, the more nodes will overlap.
   • Layer Spacing: How far the nodes are from the Composite node. The higher the number, the further the nodes will be.
   • Vertical Spacing: How far the nodes are vertically from each other. The higher the number, the more spaced out the nodes will be.
4. When done, hit the OK button.
