The Toon Boom Centre of Excellence (COE) program encourages post-secondary institutes to offer a high level learning environment for students wanting a career in animation or storyboarding through extensive exposure to Toon Boom software.
If your institution is already a COE and you have specific questions, see FAQ: Centre of Excellence.
You can also visit the official Centre of Excellence web page.
What is a COE?
A COE is a post-secondary institute that is awarded with the status as they have an animation program that meets a level of excellence that is recognised by Toon Boom Animation. This recognition represents an institute that offers high level education that sufficiently prepares their students for the industry and aims to reduce the onboarding time in studios.
COEs can exist anywhere in the world.
How is a COE different from an ATC?
COEs and ATCs are awarded to different types of institutions. The following table highlights these differences.

If your institute matches an Authorized Training Centre, see About Authorized Training Centres (ATCs).
