There are specific modes in the Onion Skin that can be adjusted to better support and benefit different types of animation. The following article will explain how you can switch between these modes. Option 1: Change the onion skin mode via the top menu
- In the top menu, select View > Onion Skin.
- In the Onion Skin menu, do one of the following to change the onion skin mode:
- Click on Onion Skin by Drawings.
- Click on Onion Skin by Frames.
Option 2: Change the onion skin mode via the Onion Skin view
- To access the Onion Skin view, do one of the following:
- In the top-right corner of a view, click on the Add View
button, and select Onion Skin from the menu.
- In the top menu, select Windows > Onion Skin.
- In the top-right corner of a view, click on the Add View
- In the Onion Skin view, locate the mode dropdown and use it to select By Frames, or By Drawings. This will change your onion skin mode.
