How do I activate the Auto-Save feature?

The following steps will show you how to activate the Auto-Save feature in Harmony.

Step 1: Open the Preferences Window

1. In the top menu, do one of the following:
   • In Windows, click Edit > Preferences…
   • In macOS click Harmony Premium/Advanced/Essentials > Preferences…
2. The Preferences dialog box opens:

Step 2: Enable the Auto-Save feature

1. In the Preferences window, click on the General tab and locate the Auto-Save section on the left.

2. Activate Save Scene Automatically by clicking on the checkbox. This will activate the Auto-Save feature. 
3. In the Interval (minutes) box, define how often you would like Harmony to auto-save.
4. In the Inactivity Interval (seconds) parameter box, define how long auto-save should wait before checking for inactivity in order to save.
5. Check the Ask Before Saving box if you would like Auto-Save to prompt you before saving.

6. Click OK to save your preferences.
