FAQ: Common login issues with a Toon Boom account

Having trouble accessing your Toon Boom account? This article covers some of the common login problems and how to fix them. 

Why do I get an “Unrecognized username or password” error?

  • Make sure you're entering your password correctly, paying close attention to capitalization and any special characters.
  • If you use a password manager or browser autofill, it is possible that your saved password is outdated; try turning off autofill and entering your password manually.
  • If you've forgotten your password entirely, you can reset it by following the steps from How do I reset my Toon Boom account password?.

I forgot my login email address/I got an “Unrecognized username or password” message. What should I do?

Contact us, we might be able to find your account by your first/last name or phone number.

What should I do if I didn't receive the activation email?

  1. Check your junk/spam folders, as the email may have been filtered there.
  2. If you still can't find it, contact support@toonboom.com and request a manual account activation. Be sure to provide the email address you used to sign up so they can locate your account.

How can I resolve login problems related to my browser?

  • Ensure you're using the latest version of your preferred browser.
  • Clear your browser's cache and cookies. 
  • Temporarily disable any browser extensions that might interfere with the login.
  • Try logging in using a different web browser (if you normally use Chrome, try Firefox or Safari).

The login page is not loading, what should I do?

  • Check your internet connection status.
  • Restart your router or modem.
  • If possible, try connecting to a different network (switch from Wi-Fi to a wired connection or try a different Wi-Fi network).
  • If you're using a VPN or proxy server, temporarily disable it and try logging in again.
  • Contact your internet service provider if you're experiencing persistent connectivity problems.
