What is the difference between a paused, cancelled, and expired subscription?

Updated on

Paused subscription

A paused subscription temporarily suspends your access to your product:

  • You will no longer be charged, but you still get to keep your data, settings and account.
  • Your license(s) will remain active until your current billing period ends.
  • You can resume the subscription at any time by visiting the My Subscriptions page in your account.

Canceled subscription

A canceled subscription stops any future payments and permanently terminates the access to your product:

  • Your license(s) will remain active until your current billing period ends.
  • You can reactivate your subscription at any time before your current billing period ends by visiting the My Subscriptions page in your account.

Expired subscription

An expired subscription has reached the end of its paid term.

  • Your access to the subscription will be terminated and you will no longer be charged.
  • Unlike a paused subscription, expired subscriptions cannot be renewed or resumed.
