What is the difference between the Harmony Editions?

Updated on

To offer more accessibility to our customers and their needs, Harmony is offered in three editions. Each edition offers a different level of complexity and features, and therefore are also priced differently. This article will outline the differences between the three editions.

What are the Harmony Editions?

The three Harmony editions that are available are as follows (click on a logo for the official product page):

Harmony Premium

The industry standard that has all of the available features. Ideal for productions that have complex needs and pipelines, but can be used for any project.

Harmony Advanced

Has many of the available features, but is missing more complex rigging, compositing and exporting options. Suitable for smaller productions that have fewer technical needs and simpler animation.

Harmony Essentials

Has the fewest amount of available features. Recommended for hobbyists and individuals who create their own content.

What features are available for each edition?

The following table provides a simplified look at what features are available in each edition. Certain basic features are not mentioned as all editions have them. Words/symbols are used to show what level of the feature is included:

All = Has all features in the category
Some = Has some of the features in the category (Anywhere between 20% - 80%)
= Has none of the features in the category
