Selecting multiple elements across multiple frames and layers involves using a combination of buttons and settings. Below you will find notes and links to more detailed articles on how to do this.
To edit multiple elements, choose all or a combination of the following options depending on your needs:
Select multiple drawing layers for editing
Selecting multiple drawing layers can be done with one of the following:
- By activating the Apply to Visible Drawings
button in the Tool Properties of a selected tool (see linked article below for the list of related tools).
- By using Shift or Ctrl/Cmd in the Timeline view to select specific layers.

Select multiple frames for editing
Selecting multiple frames can be done with one of the following:

For all frames: By activating the Apply to All Frames
button in the Tool Properties of a selected tool (see linked articles below for the list of related tools).

For a selection of frames: By activating the Apply to Onion Skin Range
button in the Tool Properties of a selected tool (see linked articles below for the list of related tools).
