If you can’t find what you need in Storyboard Pro’s pencil preset library, you can create a custom pencil made from an image of your choice.

Step 1: Import the file for the pencil line
- In the Tools toolbar, select the Pencil
tool.
- Go to the Tool Properties view. In the Vector Brush Properties section, select the Show Extended Properties button.
- The Pencil Properties window appears:
- Under the preview, select the Texture tab.
- On the right-hand side, click on the New Texture
button.
- A browser will open. Locate the custom pencil line file you would like to use and click Open.
- The new texture will appear at the bottom of the texture thumbnail section. Click on the custom texture thumbnail to select it.
- Click on the New Brush Preset
button to save the pencil line and have it show up in the Tool Properties presets window.

- Double check that the new texture is in a file format that supports transparency.
