Step 1: Creating a radial gradient swatch
- In the Colour view, create a new colour swatch for your gradient.
- Double-click the new colour swatch to open the Colour Picker window.
- On the right-side of the window, select the Gradient option by clicking the radio button.
- The Gradient section becomes available at the bottom of the window.
- At the bottom, select the Radial radio button.
Step 2: Edit the gradient’s properties
The following options will allow you to adjust the appearance of your radial gradient.
- The distribution of the gradient colours can be edited by moving the slider keys. The slider key on the left of the slider represents the centre colour, and the slider key on the right of the slider represents the outer colour:
- Click underneath the slider to add a new colour to the gradient. The new key will be created in the same colour of a previously selected key:
- When a slider key is selected, you can change the colour in Colour Picker window
- The Alpha can also be adjusted in the window, which will adjust the transparency of a chosen colour.
- Colours can be removed by clicking the colour’s key and dragging it down, away from the slider.
